Happy Friday! So, I owe anyone who reads this thing regularly an apology. I have been such a slacker with posting lately! My excuse is that I have been working on re-doing/updating my graphic design portfolio so that I can do some freelance design on the side. It’s coming along, but working on that plus working full-time, plus trying to spend any spare time enjoying summer has led to a very sad blog. But things should pick up around here very soon. Also wanting to try Grady’s Cold Brew Coffee. I have been cold brewing my own coffee for awhile now because it makes iced coffee so much better (less bitter than coffee that is brewed with heat). But it’s kind of a long process, so it would be nice to try this. Not to mention, have you seen the packaging? Hello, I’m sold.
Did you hear about the fireworks mishap that happened in San Diego? All of the fireworks went off at once, accidentally. What was going to be a 17 minute show lasted less than 30 seconds. Either a disappointment, or the world’s coolest explosion. Watch the video here.

This is how I feel whenever I buy flowers and peonies aren’t in season (so most of the year).
I love these Essie blue nail polish shades. Generally the color blue on my nails does not seem attractive, but these shades have changed my mid. Might have to pick up the “Smooth Sailing” color.
Anthropologie is have an extra 25% off their sale items until Sunday. I may have bought myself an early birthday present (Yes, I buy myself birthday presents. I also have “birthday week.” Don’t hate).
My sister got engaged on the fourth of July! So happy for them.
