Happy Friday

Stephanie Wedding

Happy Friday ya’ll (apparently today I’m embracing my inner cowgirl)!

Here are some good links for you to check out.

My friend Stephanie recently had her wedding featured on Style Me Pretty. It was the most gorgeous wedding ever. Check it out here, and be sure to take a look at the wonderful video too!

I recently came across We Heart Glamour, a photography company that does modern day glamour shots. Love their tagline: “Remember the glamour photos of the 80′s?¬†Well, this is kind of like that… but without the pink boa.” The photographer behind the name, Christin, takes beautiful photos, and these glamour shoots look so fun! If you book a shoot in the month of January only, everything is half off! Find out more info by liking the Facebook page by clicking here. Christin is taking some head shots for me (for the new site that’s coming), and I’m so looking forward to it!

Have you ever heard of Barre3? Barre3 workouts develop balance, strength, and lengthen the body and are inspired by ballet, yoga, and pilates. What I love about Barre3 is that they not only have studios where you can work out, but they have an online subscription where you can access a variety of workout videos. They have 10, 30, 40, and 60 minute video options, so you can choose whatever works best for your schedule. You can access it from your iphone, tablet, or computer. And the best part is that it’s only $15 per month! If I can work out from the comfort of my home for half the price of going to the overcrowded gym, I’m in. The videos I have done so far have all been led by Sadie Lincoln, the founder. She seems so down-to-earth, and I like that she shows modified versions of her workouts for people with injuries or people who are just starting out, like me.

This month I am doing their 28-To-Great challenge, where you commit to doing 6 Barre3 workouts per week, as well as follow their nutrition plan which consists of eating only whole foods. The challenge officially began on January 7th, but you can join in anytime! I’m at the end of week one, and so far so good! I haven’t had too many cravings, and although it’s been a pain to schedule my workouts into my day, I feel proud at the end of the day that I’ve workout out. I also really enjoy cooking their simple recipes and trying new things! One week down, three to go!

I would totally rock these gold pants, even though I’d probably get lots of strange stares…

Can’t wait to try this DIY Giant Wall Pouf!

I might just have to get these metallic suede booties for my niece that’s coming into the world in May!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!
