Happy Friday everyone! As usual, here are a few links for you to enjoy this weekend.
I am absolutely LOVING this blog series by Rachel Held Evans on egalitarianism this week. If you have any interest whatsoever in gender in relation to Christianity, you should check it out. And maybe even if you don’t. It’s called, “One in Christ: A Week of Mutuality,” and it’s not so much a debate of egalitarianism vs. complementarianism as it is a series aiming to provide evidence that there is a strong basis for egalitarianism. If you’re thinking, “Egal-what? Compleme-huh?” you can find the definitions here. I feel passionately about this because not only do I see it as a justice issue, but it also strongly ties into marriage and the way marriages are run. To see the list of posts/articles, click here.
If you missed the post this week on artist Maurie Hartel, you’ll definitely want to check it out. Gorgeous stuff.
Does anyone else out there like nautical stuff like I do? Cost Plus World Market has some great nautical items right now, just in time for summer! I see summer parties and BBQ’s a-comin’.
I am dying for this striped dress. Too bad it’s out of my price range. I will be on the hunt for a similar yet cheaper one, and let you know when I find it!
These Butter Roasted Carrots with Lemon Thyme sound delicious!
Having a wedding soon or know someone who is? These wedding table numbers are so sweet.
This Arched Edges Chemise on sale at Anthropologie looks so comfy to sleep in and perfect for summer weather.
These Apple-Core cord organizers would make handling cords much easier.
I would like a vacation. How fun would it be to go to these lava pools in Portugal?
That’s it for this week. What are you up to this weekend? Anything fun? Thanks for reading my blog and letting me share the things that I just can’t keep to myself.
